On World Telecommunication and Information Society Day we want to highlight the American Cancer Society's cancer help line and online communities.
The National Cancer Information Center provides information and support to those facing cancer 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Trained cancer information specialists are available via phone, live chat, video chat, providing accurate, up to date cancer information to patients, family members, and caregivers and connecting them with valuable services and resources in their communities.
The Cancer Survivor Network is an online community by and for people with cancer and their families. Find and connect with others through our member search, discussion boards, chat rooms, and private CSN e-mail. Create your own personal space to tell us about yourself, share photos, audio, etc, start an online journal (blog), contribute resources, and more.
Get support, join a community, and learn more at cancer.org.
