About 10,500 children in the United States
under the age of 15 will be diagnosed with cancer in 2021. Childhood cancer
rates have been rising slightly for the past few decades. The American Cancer
Society is dedicated to supporting children with cancer and their families.
The American
Cancer Society’s Courageous Kids Day provides children with cancer and
their families with a free day at California’s Great America. American
Cancer Society’s Relay For Life #GoldTogether teams raise funds specifically
to support childhood cancer research, support services, and awareness as well
as promote cancer prevention efforts targeting children. Learn more about
cancer in children at cancer.org.
