#GivingTuesday is a global day
of giving and unity. December 1, the world will be focused on giving and we
have an opportunity to showcase the urgent needs of cancer patients and ACS in
a climate that has been significantly impacted by COVID-19.
Plus, thanks to the generous support of anonymous
matching gift donors, please help us promote a matching gift as an incentive
for donors to give to ACS on #GivingTuesday (donations to your personal Relay
page isn't eligible for this matching gift). All donations made to acsgiving.org on December 1 will be matched
dollar-for-dollar up to $75,000. We’re asking everyone to take advantage of
this moment and this matching gift incentive.
ACSgiving.org features various options for giving, whether it’s
single donations or monthly reoccurring donations - donors can also give in
honor of loved ones or connect with us if they want to start a fundraiser of
their own. It’s also integrated with the cancer.org header and footer if they want
to start a chat or learn more about the organization.
ACSgiving.org
is built using a fundraising platform optimized to drive donations though the
technology provided such as dynamic suggested giving amounts based on averages
and best practices. It will also allow us to capture donor data that we can add
to our database for future outreach and has the ability for us to pull
real-time reports when needed. Emails will automatically go out thanking
individuals for their contribution, making the site a complete experience.
