April is National Cancer Control Month, a federally endorsed observation annually spurred on by a proclamation from the President. National Cancer Control Month focused on highlighting advances in the fight against cancer. This includes prevention, early detection, and treatment of cancer. Cancer screenings can help find cancer early. The earlier the cancer is found, the better the prognosis.
